Provider Advisory 2023-024 Update: Additional Grace Period for Life Skills Development Providers

This advisory is for providers who currently offer Life Skills Development 1, 2, 3, and 4.  Pursuant to Provider Advisory #2023-021 Provider Advisory, Life Skills Development services were implemented in APD iConnect on August 21, 2023.

APD assessed provider needs related to use of iConnect and will continue with an additional grace period.  Effective November 1, 2023, we will transition into compliance monitoring for the new functionality within the iConnect system.

Please be reminded that all providers of Life Skills Development 1, 2, 3 and 4 who do not currently have APD iConnect access must go through user provisioning with APD regional staff as outlined in APD Advisory #2023-020. This provisioning session must be with the Agency owner or the Agency owner’s designee.  The APD is monitoring compliance and provider activity.

In addition to the training currently available in TRAIN Florida, APD provided additional intensive training and technical assistance for providers to utilize as needed. As a network, we utilized a 30-day timeframe from the date of go live (August 21, 2023) to provide a suite of opportunities to ensure you, as our valued partners, have the support you need as you utilize the outlined functionality for the first time.

Please use the time between now and November 1, 2023, to complete the required self-paced TRAIN Florida Course Modules as indicated below and also work with your regional provider enrollment teams to be provisioned.

REQUIRED TRAINING:

If you are still in need of additional assistance, please contact your regional trainers.
